📋 MJ Cards Master Checklist — User Manual
A complete guide to every MJ Collection feature.
🏀 What is this checklist?
The Michael Jordan card checklist is loaded live from the OGS catalog every time you open the page: it loads page by page as you scroll down and keeps fetching batches in the background while the page is open. Your collection (what you own, your wishlist, grades, prices and alerts) is saved to your MJ Collection account, so you can see it from any device.
🔍 Search & Navigation
Type any keyword to instantly filter the cards already loaded: brand, year, card number, set, variation, auto barcode or grading cert number. Examples: fleer 1996 #23 refractor MJ000042.
🔎 Search all OGS (or press Enter in the search bar) searches the whole OGS catalog, for any player or set.
Era dropdown: filter by collecting era (1984-92, 1992-94…). Combine it with the search bar for precise results.
🎛️ Filter Buttons
- All the whole checklist · Owned cards you own · Wishlist your wishlist · Missing cards you don't own yet.
- 📦 Lost cards you marked as lost or misplaced.
- 🔴 Damage cards to replace · 🟢 Price Up cards trending up.
- Unlicensed · Promo · Fan-Made cards of that type that you added.
🃏 Card Actions
- Paid $ — enter what you paid; it updates the Total Paid counter.
- 🔔 Alert — click to cycle: no alert → 🔴 high damage → 🟢 price rising.
- Own It / Wish — toggle ownership or wishlist. Gold border = you own it; blue border = on your wishlist.
- eBay $ — opens eBay sold listings for the card in a new tab.
- ✏️ / Delete — only on cards you added yourself.
- + Info — market links (Sold RAW, Active Now, PSA 10, PSA 9, BGS 9.5, BGS Black Label), barcode / cert#, grading with the companies of the catalog kept by the administrator (PSA, BGS, AGS, OGS, CGC, SGC, TAG…), score and grading note, your own notes, the OGS card details, and 📦 Mark as lost.
📂 Set Headers & Era Banners
Gold rows mark the start of each set. ⚡ ALL marks or clears Owned or Wishlist for every Jordan card in that set. Between eras you'll see banners with historical context, key cards and market data.
➕ Adding Cards
+ Add Card for cards that are not on OGS: title, year, price paid, status, type (official, unlicensed, promo, fan-made), sport / niche, grading, notes and up to 3 reference links (eBay, PSA/Beckett cert, checklist). Every added card goes to review: an administrator confirms it is a real card (⏳ In review → ✔ Approved or ✖ Rejected with the reason). Editing a card sends it back to review. + Add Multiple: one card per line using YEAR | Title.
📊 Stats Bar & Plan
Total, Owned, Wishlist, Graded, Total Paid and % Completed. Your plan sets how many sets you can track: Free 10 sets, Plan 1 100 sets, Plan 2 every set (monthly) and Plan 3 every set for life. Request a plan from your account with your payment proof.
💾 Data Management
📥 Export downloads your collection as JSON. 📤 Import restores a backup from MJ Collection or from the v13 checklist (MJ_collection_backup.json). 🗑 Reset deletes your collection data (type RESET); the checklist itself is not affected.
✏️ Title Customization
Click the checklist title at the top left to rename it; it is remembered in this browser.
